This is my hobby; I keep, breed and occasionally sell budgies.
I find this to be a great pass-time, albeit time consuming. However, it appears to be one of those hobbies which are dying out. So, if you're interested just ask, there are still budgie breeders about, whom I'm sure will take you under their wing and give you some advice.
