Just want to thank you on our "new addition". We chose a blue male budgie as a present for our son,Joe, who has wanted one for ages. We were very impressed by your avairy and your care of the budgies. Our little budgie, who we named Rocky, settled in very quickly and within two days Joe had him eating out his hand then progressed onto sitting on his hand. There is no stopping him now, he is totally hand tame and comes out daily to fly around or sit on our shoulder or head.Thank you for the aftercare advice. From the Allen family,W.G.C. and Rocky x
Thankyou George for the two beautiful budgies mum and I collected last Sunday. You were right two together is much better than one alone. They are already finger tame and have been flying around the living room daily for excercise. The boy has such a strong character and the girl follows him everywhere. This makes it really easy when encouraging them to go back into their cage.Once again a BIG thankyou for your help and advice
with kind regards sue (and Iris) x
Hi george, just watched your video clips of your birds and they were brill. Seeing those birds at just hatched they looked like little aliens! But very cute. The budgies looked healthy and happy in their environment and loving their little shower. Hopefully one day soon i shall be the proud owner of one of your budgies. I have owned 3 birds in the past and they make excellent pets. Easy to look after and very entertaining.
Hi George, Thank you for the budgies (Ronnie & Reggie) they are doing fine, still quite nervous, still early days though. Starting to see there personalities coming through. Your website is very helpful. Will let you know how they get on!!
Lovely site - looks like your birds enjoy the outdoor life in an exciting aviary. Was in Borehamwood at the weekend - did I see an advert for your budgies for sale in the newsagents in the High Street? Unfortunately too far for me to carry one home.........Shame, the one in the advert looked so handsome!
Great site George. Have really enjoyed looking through. Look forward to seeing more pics posted. Your handywork making the breeding cages is exceptional.
The layout of the website is great. No need to mention that your birds are hilarious! I loved them. They are lucky to have you as their owner and so do you because you have them I wish to have budgies one day, I love them so much. Take care always...

Fantastic web site George, very professional. Loves the photos of the budgies. I really do like them as pets but when I kept them some years ago now, they either got sick Or I accidentally left the window open !!!
....so not the best budgie candidate !!
How long have you been the bird man of Borhamwood? Three questions:
1. Do they make a racket?
2. Do the local birds try and have a go?
3. Do you have to be careful about avian diseases?
Tinker is a monkey sometimes, listen to this whenever the heair dryer is on or the hover he cheaps as loudly as he can because he trys to have a who can be loudest compotion!:D
George,
I studied your site very carefully. It is very nice and I hope you will update it regularly. Especially I devoted my attention to your birds and aviary photographs. Your aviary is great and extremely clean. Your birds are living there as in paradise. George, what wood do you use for perches in your aviary please? I am not able to recognize the wood.
Take care
Ales
PS: Thank you for the visit of my site as well. Yesterday I added the chapter "from egg to budgie" which I prepared in cooperation with Sue Richardson (unfortunately in Czech version so far).
Hi George. Great website. Is there no limit to your talents? Love the picture of you in the hat.Great budgies....Where are you in the pecking order in your house??...Neil
A burglar has just made it into the house he's intending to ransack, and he's looking around for stuff to steal. All of a sudden, a little voice pipes up "I can see you, and so can Jesus!" Startled, the burglar looks around the room. No-one there at all, so he goes back to his business. "I can see you, and so can Jesus!" The burglar jumps again, and takes a longer look around the room. Over in the corner by the window, almost obscured by curtains, is a cage in which sits a budgie, who pipes up again "I can see you, and so can Jesus!" "So what", says the burglar, "You're only a budgie!" To which the budgie replies "Maybe, but Jesus is a Rottweiler!" LOL!!!
Love the site George.

So So sweet, a little inspiration something I have always wanted to do but never had the time, after looking at your lovely website I may rethink, thanks George. Jane
Two newies walk into a pet store and say "We'd like four budgies, please." "Certainly," answers the salesman,"Would you like two males and two females, or four males, or four females?" They reply, "We don't care, just give us four budgies, alright!" So the salesman puts 4 budgies in a box and the men carry them out of the pet store. They drive to a tall, steep, cliff. The first guy pulls two budgies out of the box and holds one in each hand. He walks to the edge of the cliff and jumps off. His friend watches him fall down as he reaches the bottom and splatters on the rocks below. "Gee," he says, "this budgie jumping isn't all it's cracked up to be."
